Tablet computers have become the device of choice to read e-books, because of their portability and connectivity it has revolutionized social book reading. The announcement of the New Blackberry Playbook has been some exciting news and when you read some of the specifications you will see why. The Wattpad is proclaimed to be the world’s most sociable eBook community and has seen a record 1 million downloads a month just recently. This will ease up on the battery drain giving the device the best performance to power ratio available.
Some of the other additions to the Playbook include; HDMI ports, micro jack, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3 megapixel camera, 5 megapixel back facing camera, HD display and 1080p HD video are to name just a few. The playbook is an ultra portable anything you want it to be; from a conferencing tool to a gaming platform it will be sort after by both major corporations and techno geeks alike. With its ultra slim design of 7.6 x 5.1 x 0.4 inches and only weighing 400g it is not going to be very hard to carry around with you.
Good news for blackberry owners is the Bluetooth will be able to siphon off information directly from your cell phone without synchronizing the devices. This makes doing business a whole lot easier and smoother without have to duplicate content all the time. The price has not yet been released but it has been mentioned that it will be affordable to the mainstream market.
