E-books and the library?
I have a kindle and a sony reader. I know that there are many libraries that allow you to download ebooks online for a few weeks. My local library, were I have a library card, does participate in this. Is there anyway for me to participate in a library ebook lending program.

Added: You may wish to encourage the policy makers at your public library to start budgeting for and subscribing to an ebook loan service. I recommend you send an email to the director of your public library encouraging those plans. Your public library may already have plans (and ways to budget for those added costs) for participating in ebook lending. You won’t know that unless you contact the library director.
