eFun Next3 Android Tablet PC

The recent Tablet PC from eFuns, called Next3, includes Google Android 2.1 OS and a large 8.4 inches TFT color display, which is a bit larger than the new Samsung Galaxy Tab. It also features incorporated stereo speakers, 2GB flash memory and an SD card slot to raise storage capacity to up to 32GB. For internet connection there is a built-in WI-FI.
The device can also be used an e-reading tool, as it has the Borders eBook store pre-loaded an each Nextbook, making it simple to download and purchase your favorite titles. Borders is the very same bookstore Kobo users use, thus there plenty of eBooks to select from. It is not yet revealed if it is going to get magazine or newspaper subscription on it.
With Next3, you can surf the Internet, watch YouTube videos, send and receive emails, listen to online music providers and even get access to real-time weather reports. The touch screen feature makes it simple to turn a page or select another application. The list of other functions includes alarm, clock and calculator.
We can only presume that it has no access to the Android Market Place, otherwise it would have made the headlines. GPS is also not available, meaning Google would not give approval to GMAIL or Android Market Place. Next3 is available at $230, but you can now purchase it on HSN for just $199.
