I want to learn computer code and design video games, But where do i start?
I’m 17, Homeschooled, And i want to start learning (Or training) with computer code before the times comes that i have to enter college.
For my job, I have always wanted it to be something involving computers, But it would make me feel better if i started preparing myself for it now then in the future. I always want to try my hand at designing video games as well.
I have no clue where to start though, So i was wondering if anybody knew any good books/websites/purchasable training software from an electronic store/etc that have been working well for other computer users.

I gained a lot of my coding skills using Blitz Basic. I find the Blitz Basic variants highly beginner friendly. http://blitzbasic.org/
And most important advice, start small. It’s easy to set up a 3D environment, but making it into a game takes an indescribable amount of work. It’s very common for beginners to bite more than they can chew.
