Extra Kindle fees for mexico residents?
Hello. I just bought by international kindle while on vacation in the US. I have a house there and another in mexico but i live in mexico. I changed my kindle address to US to download some books. When i got to mexico, I got a message saying that i would have to pay an extra $2 for each book downloaded (excluding the ones i had already downloaded). I changed my address to the Mexican one. Will i still need to pay those fees or is that just for downloading books from the US store when outside of the US?
The fees are built into the prices if you are outside the US. The books will cost on average $2 more than the books in the US store cost. If you want to avoid the fees you can download via USB, but in that instance you need to be registered as a US user.
