ebook reader – advice me?
So, from what I’ve heard, there are many that love the Kindle and the Sony Reader, and there are also many many people who’ve advised me to stay away from it, so here I am asking for advice.
Basically, the ebooks I intend to read are ALL in PDF format and don’t have that big of text.
I’m looking for an ebook reader that a touch screen that is 10 inches or more, has battery life of 2 weeks or more, text to speech is preferred as well as color, if available.
In the future, the only things I can imagine reading will be in .txt or .pdf format, and as I plan to reader quite often, you can imagine how frustrating it would be to read off a monitor for hours.
Only things I’ve discovered on google are the Kindle DX, that fits most of the qualifications, but maybe someone can reassure me, who uses a Kindle DX that it’s quite good, or can redirect me to a better model.

Several web sites offer online full-texts of books that are out of copyright, e.g. www.gutenberg.org.
However, aside from the copyright owner, which is almost always the author or their publisher, ANYONE who posts the text of these books online is violating both the U.S. and the International Copyright laws, infringing on Intellectual Property, and can be fined and jailed for it. (In general, anything first published within the last 52 years in the U.S. will still be in copyright.)
This is why they legally purchased copies are almost never available in PDF format.
Writers make a living by creating their work. To read or use it without paying for it, is STEALING, pure and simple.
If you value the work enough to read it, pay for it.
