What do you think of Kindles and e-books?
Hi.
I saw someone “reading” an e-book today on her break at work today..and thought “How sterile and cold!”
There’s nothing like the feel of actual paper. I just don’t like them at all. They seem lifeless and just boring.
Who wants to stare at some text on a flat screen, even if it does have animations,etc? And who wants to fall alseep and dropping it while reading… and wake up,wondering if they’ve cracked the screen?
I’d rather prefer a flexible book that you can hold and feel. This is one thing that technology should leave alone. Somehow, the thought of having to recharge a book doesn’t quite sound right.

I like stacking up my books on a shelf
and that way if I ever get to hand then down I can
what can you do with a computerized book
to me it is harder to read it
and what happens if someone steals it
or you lose it all those books are gone?
and now you have to buy a new reader
I do NOT like them
