Which eBook Reader should I get?
Something cheap (150 and below) would be nice, e-ink is preferred, and I’m stuck between the Kindle and a Sony e-Book Reader. I personally don’t care about the fancy stuff like 3g and a web browser. It would be nice if it supported PDFs and word documents although i can live if it doesn’t. The ePub feature seems nice so you can check out library books but is it that much of a factor? I mostly want to read classics like Jane Eyre, 1984, and other old well known documents/novels. So which one and please give some supporting evidence.
Ask yourself why the iPod is such a hit? Sure, it’s a good music player and all, but there are others out there. So what makes the iPod so special? It’s because Apple tightly integrated it with iTunes, which makes shopping and buying of music so easy, as well as managing your iPod.
The Kindle 3 has something similar with Amazon. You already use the great Amazon order system to browse and buy books, and it’s delivered instantly, wirelessly, to your Kindle.
The Sony may be a good eReader, but it’s lacking the other half of the system.
