Learn How You Can Maintain A Long Distance Friendship
How many stories of friendship have we experienced in books, movies, and television? How many times have we connected to those tales?
We know that friendships can be ultra special and may even help define us in some ways. Most folks agree that you do not need a huge number of best friends in our lifetime. Many people have lots of friends but best friends are rare.
We all long to be accepted by others. Genuine friends do not endure our faults as much as they seem to embrace our shortcomings. This quality of acceptance is unshakable foundation of friends.
How are people separated by several states or even oceans maintaining and growing their friendships? Many are turning to the virtual world to cultivate and harvest their bond. They are discovering new opportunities for keeping in constant contact.
There are a couple of women that found a way to work together in addition to keeping their close association. They were college roommates that had attended schools together since the first grade. Initial job opportunities and marriage found them living many miles apart.
They shared many common interests since their childhood and transformed one into a successful online business. They had discovered that a home income opportunity would allow them to work at home and raise their kids.
Both had personal websites and both of them maintained a blog. Neither one of them thought they could make money blogging about something they love.
They had shared arts and crafts as girl scouts and in school. They played dress up games together as children and loved their Mom’s makeup and bracelets. They credit their friendship for fueling the success they have achieved selling fine costume jewelry wholesale.
Their friendship and years of give and take serves them well. Friendships work because the parts that each person brings to the table tend to complement the other person. There is sometimes a feeling of completeness when you found the other person is a good fit.
They are both big fans of social sites because they come loaded with a variety of cute and engaging tools. They promote their site plus acknowledge birthdays, send hearts, smiles, and comments back and forth. They still manage to send a hand written card or letter too.
Many people are drawn to a fireplace or campfire. There is comfort in that warmth that can be symbolic of our friendships. You start small and add carefully until it catches fire. Properly fueled and cared for it will burn forever.
