Is there a site to download kindle books properly formatted for the device already?
I recently got a kindle, and though it reads PDFs, the ones I have have missing pages and such when viewed on the device. When I convert them using Calibre or Mobipocket, they end up with paragraphs moved around, missing letters, or improper spacing. Is there a site (legal or otherwise) with books available in the proper AMZ format, or where books are uploaded that are properly set up for the device?

I’m looking for someplace other than Amazon. I already own many of these books from other sources, but not in the proper format, and I’m not looking to have to repurchase them.
