How long does it take to deliver an ebook to a kindle?
I got a Kindle for christmas and I’ve just registered it today. I’ve downloaded a couple of books and clicked the ‘deliver to Amy’s kindle’ button. It says that they are pending in the delivery status box. How long will it take for them to actually get onto my kindle?

I am doing it on the computer with the Kindle plugged in via a USB if that makes any difference.
Deliver to Amy’s Kindle is to have them sent wirelessly to the device. When the Kindle is connected wirelessly, that would download in less than 60 seconds. If the Kindle isn’t connected to the internet, to do it via the USB cable, choose Transfer via Computer. Then the files will download to the computer and you can drag and drop them to the Documents folder on the Kindle device.
