Just ordered a Kindle for my wife’s birthday. I have read a lot of the reviews on bibles at Amazon.com. Not?
Not sure which is best. I have a Nelson study bible, and I enjoys it. I want one the has the explanation at the bottom of each page so all you have to do is look at the bottom of page. Would also like to be able to move around very quickly to book, chapter and verse. Any advise you could give me would be appreciated. have to spend money for something not worth it.

It is by Nelson and is a study bible.
Please recall that there are at least two kind of Bibles: the literal ones that depend on you to have a scholars knowledge of the times and customs and meanings of the original text, and the translated ones where the scholar will help with that knowledge.
Also using the King James is troublesome. Its language is beautiful, but old. Meanings change. If you can not get all the jokes in Shakespeare, then you are missing out on meaning when reading the KJ version.
