Can I tether my Kindle 3 to my laptop?
I want to use the 3G coverage on my Kindle 3 to get the internet on my laptop. Is there any way to do this wirelessly? Or even to tether the internet in with a cord?
I suppose it’s technically possible, but it would involve some hacker creating the way, possibly altering code inside the Kindle.
You don’t pay for a 3G data plan with the Kindle. It’s really only made for browsing the Kindle store and downloading books. It can browse the web on Kindle’s experimental web browser, but it’s slow and unsatisfactory.
