What exactly is the kindle? (please no links)?
I know the basics like you buy a book on your amazon account and you read them on the kindle. But do you always get to keep the books and how much space does each book take? How many books can fit? And for people that own them, are they worth it to you? I’d like mixed reviews. I’m going into my first year of college and am thinking it may be a good investment, but I would like to hear the pros and cons of them.
Also, if you don’t want the book on your kindle and need space, can you delete it from your kindle without deleting the book completely?
And which one is the best model for it’s price and quality?
It’s a device designed to over-run books. But if you’re going to college, then it might be a wise investment if you don’t have space to keep books. There are different kinds of Kindles, Kindle DX has 4gb, it stores around 3500 books. The cost is around $489.
Kindle 2 is an elder version, it has 2gb which will hold 1500 books. it cost $189 on amazon

Well im pretty sure the books are just like songs on the ipod, if you save them on the computer, then you can delete them form your kindle
as for price and quality i would go for Kindle DX is more up-to-date. it has automatic rotating pages, the screen is wider, and it holds more books. So if you want less books for a cheaper price i would go for the Kindle 2 but if you want the most up-to-date one with more books than i would go for that one. Shop according to your need.
