managing kindle account
Can I take a book off of my Amazon Kindle without deleting it forever?

I went to “manage my kindle” on amazon.com, but it said if i removed a book from my kindle it would be gone and I would have to purchase it again if I wanted it back.
Is there any way to have it be saved on my computer or amazon.com account and taken off of my kindle?

You can delete it from your kindle and re-download as often as you want from your archives. You cannot (to my knowledge) delete it from your archives and still have it available. If you delete it from the manage your kindle page, you’re actually deleting it from your archives which is why its warning you.
