What can you do if someone has stolen your work online and then had it copyrighted?
Is there a course of action that can be taken? I just found an Amazon/Kindle website where the “author” is going to people’s blogs, copying and pasting their writing into books and then passing them off as their own, copyright and all. They plaster their photo on to the back cover, refer to themselves as the author, and do NOT credit the original writer. The original writer has no idea that their work is being stolen or used. This guy has mountains of “books” on his website, both at Lulu and Amazon. Is this pirating or straight out plagiarism?
Maybe a mix of both?
