If I change accounts on my Kindle can I keep books I had?
I just got a Kindle for Christmas, and registered it on my account. My dad just got a Kindle a few days later. Is there a way for me to switch over to his account without losing my books? I know I can back up my book on my computer, and download it on up to 6 devices. Will it work if I switch to put it back from my computer, or will there be a conflict?
Nope. Stick with your own account, or ask Dad to join up on your account if he hasn’t purchased any books yet. You can have a book on up to six devices, but they must all be linked to the same account.
