Make Money Writing – With Articles, E-books, Blogs and Novellas
Make money writing articles, e-books, blog posts and novellas. It really is as simple as A, B, C. If your writing standard is high enough you will be able to make more than just a salary from a job that is simply satisfying. Anything from $200 a day to – well if you’re successful, your potential earnings are limited only by your desire and energy.
The start of your journey is to create something. For me this was a blog site. For you this could be a blog site, an article directory, an e-book or even a novella or full blown novel. The choice is yours. Whatever your decision.
Create something good.
Make your product digital if possible. An e-book or kindle novella is my own personal favorite. (I am writing a gem at the moment. An e-book for the kindle. Shameless plug) The reason for this choice is the recent boom in kindle sales. A simple 15,000 or 25,0000 e-book for kindle can be sold for as little as $0.99 but can generate an almost unlimited amount of sales. The larger your back list of books the greater your chance of making sales.
If you are more interested in writing novellas the same points apply. Books in the YA category for example can be anything from 25,000 to 60,000 words. (This by the way is one of the single most profitable categories for sales on the kindle)
Package it well and get ready to sell it.
To sell effectively you need to set up a blog. I personally prefer to use a wordpress theme on my own hosting. You can do this or use a wordpress.org supported blog, a blogger.com or weblog.com supported blog. (which by the way are free)
Basic Article Marketing Will Sell Your Products
Some strategies are so simple that most people underestimate them and their power.For example one simple article on a site like Articlesbase can provide a massive boost to a site. Do this simple task on a daily basis and the leverage you gain can reach staggering proportions.
Article marketing basics like linking work in conjunction with good site content and good product presentation. What I mean is that if you write an excelent e-book but present it badly in sales copy then no one is going to buy it. Likewise if the articles you write to drive traffic to your site are sloppy or boring, you will fail in your objective.
Linking from articles to your products acheives several objectives.
- It targets and pre-screens potential customers
- It lets Google know your alive and kicking
- Regular link back to your site will provide a page ranking boost
All of this translates back into profit. Targeted customers means more sales. Just make sure that once you have produced your product that you consistently promote it through the use of Article Marketing and Guest Posting.
